Terms of Service

The service & contracting party

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you ("you" or "the user") and Business Buddy OS, the seller and provider of the service. When you create an account or use the service, you are contracting with Business Buddy OS, and you agree to be bound by these terms.

Business Buddy OS ("the service") turns your Google Sheets into AI-powered dashboards, chat insights, and plain-English logging (Sheet Speak). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, source code, documentation, design, branding, the "Business Buddy OS" name and logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by and remains the exclusive property of Business Buddy OS. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for your own business purposes during an active subscription, and do not transfer any title, ownership, or intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, lend, or create derivative works from the service without the prior written consent of Business Buddy OS.

Your account

You sign in with your own email or Google account and connect your own Google Sheets. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data in your sheets and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.

Subscription & payments

Business Buddy Pro is offered at $25 per month or $199 per year. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as our payment processor and merchant of record where applicable — Stripe handles payment collection, taxes, and invoicing, and its own terms apply to the purchase transaction.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep Pro access until then. Switching between monthly and yearly billing applies proration as described at the time of the change.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempting to access other users' data or sheets, no abusing or reverse-engineering the service, and no uploading data you do not have the right to use. AI-generated insights and suggestions are provided for informational purposes only and are not financial, legal, or professional advice.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or misuse of the service. On termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
